Scarlett Johansson, American actress (born on November 22nd, 1985 New York City New York) has received acclaim for her acting abilities across genres ranging from period dramas to thrillers to action films. Johansson was born in New York City, and raised there by her father who was an architect and her mother, a producer. Her twin brother Hunter were the youngest of four siblings. At a very young age, she developed a passion for acting. She began auditioning commercials at the age seven. In order to improve her abilities, she studied at the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute in Manhattan as well as at the Professional Children's School. She made her debut as an actress on film in North (1994) aged nine. When she was eight years old, she starred alongside Ethan Hawke on Off-Broadway in Sophistry. Johansson later appeared in Just Cause (1995) but her debut came in Manny & Lo (1996) a coming-of-age film about siblings who are orphaned and run away. The Horse Whisperer (1998) Johansson, who plays a teenaged girl with an ailment, was well-loved by critics. Then she was hailed for her role as the cynical teenage Rebecca In Ghost World. She gained fame for her portrayal of Nell Jones on the CBS successful show NCIS Los Angeles. Award-winning actress was one of the leading characters on the show. In addition to appearing in the show, she is also an accomplished stage actor. Her stage performances include many of the most stunning performance, such as in Wildflower. Renee Felice Smith was a young girl when she started her professional career as an entertainer. When she was a kid Smith was interested in acting. Smith's parents helped her with getting her first role in the acting world when she was just six. Smith was in an Dannon commercial on TV. She decided, like many actresses who are just beginning to get their feet wet, she would work on her acting skills. She took part in different projects in the USA as she made her debut on stage. Her education was in Stonestreet Studios, the Stonestreet Studios Conservatory of the New York University Tisch School of the Arts.
