Alexandra Hetherington Breckenridge is an American actress. She began her career as an actor in the teen comedy films Big Fat Liar (2006) and She's the Man (2006). Later, she portrayed the role of reporter Willa McPherson on the series of FX Dirt. Also, she played an appearance in FX's short-lived show The Ex List. In the premiere season, she starred in the role of Moira O'Hara as a young Moira as well as in the season 2, she played Kaylee. The character was played by Jessie on AMC's The Walking Dead. Sophie played her character in The NBC show This Is Us. She also voiced several characters from the animated comedy series of Family Guy. Since the year 2019, she has appeared as Melinda "Mel" Monroe in the Netflix series Virgin River. Breckenridge grew up in Darien, Connecticut until she was 10, when her mother and she moved to California [11] where they stayed for a while before moving to Mill Valley. Breckenridge started to become interested in singing, acting and photography around the age of 13. Breckenridge moved back to Los Angeles with the help of her mother when she was 15.
